Default Alternator Belt

How do i go about replacing the belt that spins the alternator.....im looking at it and thinking there has to be an easier way than tearing all the other belts off to get this one on

Do you have A/C??? Crazy. Ya you'll need to take the A/C belt off to get to the Alternator belt. It's really easy to do tho. Oh and the power steering one too. At least I think both of those are in the way...I can't remember off the top of my head. I've never had a honda/acura with ac or power steering.

Nope, only easy way would be to not have a/c or power steering. Removal of any one if those belts is easy if you take your time and don't rush. Only issue you'll run into is tightening the belt when done since it has to have the right tension on it so it won't squeek when turning car on.

this isnt the best way to do it but its an easy way thats worked for me in the past thats worked when ive had brake downs due to belts, ive put them on like you would a "bicycle chain" put it on as good as you can get it and starting the car an the car will put it on the rest of the way, just make sure you understand which way your pullies are going to spin when you start the car,

You could do what this guy said. It only takes a few seconds to do. Actually I think changing a belt takes lesstime then changing oil does.

Also why would you remove your ac? Keep it, I wish all my cars had ac and power steering. Life sucks without them.
