The frs confuses me so it's a sports car right? Then why do I read and here that they are low in the power department? Idk I like them but idk haha.

^^^^I hate this question. It seems people are so concerned about numbers on paper, rather than how the car drives and feels. 200 hp doesn't sound like much, but you put that 200 hp in the right platform and you can have one of the most fun cars available.

200 hp in a 2750 lb. car is not lacking in the power department. It's a sportscar because it is a low CoG(Center of gravity), balanced, lightweight, RWD platform. The engine is does not lack power and has lots of potential in the higher rev range.

It is a sportscar because the driving feel and excitement from a sportscar is all there. Do you consider an S2000 a sportscar? Do you consider a Miata a sportscar? I do. The FR-S does all the things both of those cars do.

Can your LS turbo integra take this car in the quarter? Probably.

Will this car run circles around that same car at a racetrack, autocross, or canyon roads? Most definitely.

I hope I have solved your confusion on the car!

Ok now that you say it weights 2700 hundred pounds I can see the power to weight ratio. I'd really like to see some footage of them at a track making runs. I've never looked at s2000s as sports cars just as cars that were nice haha. So your saying tho it would be like comparing a integra to a crx?(like weight wise and why not)? Cause I can under stand that when it comes to the power to weight ratio.

That was me in the FRS. The S2000 was not KC's, though. I went to B'bops for lunch that day and ,coincidentally, a friend of mine happened to head there for lunch as well that owns the s2k. So, we bs'd about the car and had lunch.

Should have checked it out. I had a group of NHRA drag racers ask me about the car after I popped the hood. They were impressed with the car, but not the 200hp

Honestly I feel like this is a great track car, it kinda reminds me of the veil side supra... But anyways the manufacturing of the car is great and their already making performance parts so fast which makes me think that not only can this be a great daily driver but also they had in mind that the frs/brz was gonna be one all out fun either way. just my opinion, hope it makes sense lol
