Thanks guys, i was unsure how well this car would be accepted on this site being an american powerplant and all. Glad its getting a little love. Alot of work has gone into the car to get it to where it is now.

LOL na i know exactly what he id talking about. Before this i had the RX8 in my sig. I was pushign the limits with that car. I did everythign you coudl possibly think of to the motor to make it stronger. It had GT35 on it running meth injection. It was a really really fun car and the rotary was an amazing engine. Its different to drive and enjoy. All that being said. I went through Three motors in the RX8. The 4th motor i installed was a stock one to sell the car. If you leave the rotary stock and dont plan on pushing its limits its a great motor. But if you plan on trying to make gobs of power you better have deep deep pockets. So.... this is the next best thing in my book. Reliable engine that can make good power and is cheap to do so. So i guess i am a rotary guy and a LSx guy.

I have seen some pretty sweet rotary builds, but i must say that this cammed, stalled, milled-ported headed, E85, Nitrous, 6.0 liter FC has been the most fun car that i have owned :-)

lol exactly. You would be suprised the amount of older guys that compliment the car. I think they are suprised that someone took an import and have an American motor in it.

You know weight wise it would be pretty sweet. However i never really cared for the miata's looks. However the newer ones that are jsut coming out do look really good. If i could find one cheap enough i would think about doing another swap

I don't think people have made swap parts for LSx's for NCs though. I wouldn't be surprised if there were custom made stuff for it, but as far as a mass producer, I haven't seen anything.

Yeah i know what you man. So much easier to just buy all the parts you need and bolt everythign up. Everything was custom one off parts on this one. From the motor moutns to mounting the ford 8.8 Rear end under the back.
