Default Tuned by wrenches. D16 civic lots of boost.

hows it going guys? brian at wrenches told me i needed to post in here since i just got tuned by him.
first il tell you a little about the car.
95 civic
been a turbo car for 4 yrs or so with a couple diff setups. first was a greddy 15g kit with 173whp on bone stock motor. then next was a vitara bottom end with stock head ebay turbo and peiced together kit. that was around 300whp and ran 11.9 @117mph with 1.9 60ft.

the car as it sits now.

the new setup includes
vitara bottom end with FJT rods stock sleevesf
y8 port and polished head
comp 59500 cam
supertech springs
skunk2 retainers
golden eagle intake manifold W/ omni 70mm TB
Go-autoworks catch can with drain back into the block
Go-autoworks backdoor FMIC and piping W/ knockoff tial WG on FMIC
SLS topmount manifold
Precision PTE 6262 .82 AR
walbro 255 intank
bosch 044 inline -6AN feed line
aeromotive reg
AEM rail
bosch 1600cc's
E85
Innovative solid mounts. and they work!
tuned on S300

theres prolly some little stuff i missed
but car made 475WHP 325ft lbs
the last dyno pull. the oil cap unscrewed itself somehow and fell off right at the end of the pull as you can see.

this is what i had brian stop at since my goal was 450-500 and that is exactly in the middle. im very positive it would of made more at that boost but i was very happy.

all comments welcome but if your a hater go to honda-tech

How much psi did you use to get to that?

On a 6262, I am guessing high teens. Damn good flowing turbo for that setup. What are you revving that thing to? 8-8500?

the 475 pull was the first pull at 28psi.
since it was the first pull at that boost im sure it would of made more power with a couple more pulls but i said stop. it made 439 at 23-24psi i think it was. wanted to play it safe and be able to get it to the track.

and reving it to 8500 and it makes power all the way up. peak power was at 8400 i think

Thats a 62mm turbo for you. Made for drag racing. Great area under the curve for a good ex/si tranny.

I love the "House of Hook". Great track. What tires are you on? Are you preloading? Looks like you could use a little more heat, and maybe stay in 1st a little longer. Other than that, that thing is moving out. Get that 60 into the low 1.7's high 1.6's, you could be seeing close to mid 10's.
