Tonight, I install H&R WRX Street Performance coilovers. Goodridge stainless steel brake lines (finally), and do a WRX front brake conversion, with EBC slotted rotors and EBC Blue Stuff pads. Was hoping Whiteline front endlinks, BWR battery tie down, and MoMo shift knob and boot would arrive today but no such luck. Tomorrow, performance spec'd alignment. Sunday is RallyX! Any of ya'll going?

Hey if it's any consolation, I was registered. But I only managed to get the WRX brake swap done, and the front brake lines. Couldn't get the brakes to work right (takes 3 pumps before they work) no matter how many times I bled. So I missed RallyX too. Thursday I do the rear lines, and install today's arrival, MoMo King shift knob, MoMo performance boot, Whiteline front endlinks, and a BWR battery tie down. Friday Kraft will install the coilovers. I promise tonight after class I'll make a photobucket and provide pics

Thanks man. Wish I didn't have to fix a bunch of mechanical things so I could focus on aesthetics too. The Coors helped, but a little too little, a little too late. The brake job got finished, but I think the front left rotor makes contact with the dust shield somewhere, makes a terrible sound. And since I skipped doing the rear lines at the time, there is no pedal feel. Oh yeah, since someone jacked my paps' tools, I was short a few 21mm sockets to do the coilovers. Felt like a fail to me. Tomorrow night I'll finish the brakes, install the new stuff, and Friday Kraft is putting the coilovers on :)

Installed the rear brake lines. Ended up twisting the hard line, causing a leak. Kraft is fixing that at the moment. They were going to install the coilovers for me, but it turns out the rears were missing the coilover top hats.
Going to visit Rodney when I get the top hats through JB Autosports! Good vendors, we have here.
Got the MoMo knob and boot in. The boot is a little tall, but oh well. It's not dirty and ragged like the old one.
BWR Universal battery tie down is exactly as wide as the battery, therefore making it worthless to me. Not so universal.........
Since I've been messing things up pretty good recently, I will wait till next weekend before installing the Whiteline front endlinks.

Sounds to me like we need to sit down soon. Once you get that stuff get a hold of me to setup a time for this. I think if we play this right I can help install a large amount of stuff without having it be a wallet killer. Also, since you are buying the top hats off JB Autosports, bring in your receipt and I can take 5% off orders over $50 or 10% off orders over $100.00 on my labor rate.

I'm sure I can knock out a bunch of stuff for ya in one swoop!!

Thanks Rodney! And you're very right crvtec.
Has the hard line fixed, and master cylinder replaced...still fudged up. They think it will need a new brake booster as well. I really f'd things up.
In regards to the top hats, I've yet to get my hands back on my car and the coilovers....but they may actually have the right hats. I'll let ya and JB know when I finally get my hands on her again.

Yessir! I got my car back Friday, with a new brake booster and master cylinder. Unfortunately, the brakes still had to be pumped for them to work. Yesterday, I took it to a friend in Ames. Was told by the shop that did the rest that it needed the ABS system bled through a controller. My friend figured out I was a dumbass and installed the calipers on the wrong sides. Once they were right, and it was bled, it just required initializing the ABS a few times.
Now, just tapping the brake is enough. It literaly feels like they could stop a train.
I'm going to see if Rodney has time next weekend to install my coilovers. The hats that supposedly wont work for them, are the same as pictured on H&R's website. I haven't installed the front endlinks yet, but will whichever day I can persuade Rodney to help me out.
I'll get a pic of how they look on the car once my phone is well charged!

I got a blown engine last night :\ I'm in the works of buying a 205 complete with turbo, exhaust, and ecu. Waiting for the guy to get it out and diagnose a coolant leak issue first.

Well, I was on the interstate. Heading up a hill, it seems to start loosing power. I eventually go full throtlle and nothing. Weird. So I drop it in 4th and BAM! Sounded like something was dragging against the ground, and it sounded like the fan was relocated in the block. Pop in clutch to pull over, and car dies. Pop hood, everythings fine appearing, except the fans are running full power with the car off, and there's not a drip of coolant left in the resevoir. No leaks on the ground or bottom of the motor from what I could tell. Had to limp it off the interstate. Won't go over 45, won't hit 3K RPM. Slight smoking coming from radiator and still no coolant.
I am not certain of the cause. I know that a.) it had a small leak on the drivers side valve cover. b.) ticks when it's low on oil c.) it sometimes would have an electrical tick when starting into 1st d.) randomly has hesitation.
Right now all I know for sure is that something internal has gone very very wrong. Not an expert but I know a few used parts where used when it was put together and it's an interference engine. I think the timing was off somewhere, and kabooey. I'll be pissed if it's related to either timing or the oil leak, as I had finally got the money to address both of those the exact same day it happened.
